- Tenancy - the occupancy of a property by a tenant which is governed by a set of agreed terms and conditions. A lease is usually signed.
- Tenant - a person who rents a property from a landlord.
- Title deeds - a legal document which shows who owns a piece of land. The title deed in registered land transactions is the land certificate.
- Top-up mortgage - a second mortgage which is taken out when the first lender is not prepared to lend enough for the purchase of a property.
- Tracker mortgage - a mortgage with an interest rate that tracks the Bank of England base rate.
- Transom - the window above a door.
